Activity: Participating in or organising an eventParticipation in workshop, seminar, course

Description

By using Amsterdam as a living laboratory, the creative exploration is presented in AMSTERDAM 2050 publication, which aims to understand today’s structure of the City, to explore possible future scenarios and to speculate on new architectural types and new ways of living. Together this forms a solid basis of new explorations into the City of the Future.

The presentation of Amsterdam2050, will be followed by a panel discussion with Pieter Klomp (Deputy Director Physical Planning and Sustainability, City of Amsterdam), Kees Kaan (Professor at Delft University of Technology / AMS Institute), Tanner Merkeley (Architect at OMA), Marten Wassmann (Benthem Crouwel), Ebru Isguzarer-Onder (program manager at AMS Institute), Esther Gramsbergen and Manuela Triggianese (Docent and Researcher at Delft University of Technology) among others.

A guided tour to the exhibition AMS MID-City models is also part of the program.
