Description
Our cultural heritage is multi-faceted, diverse and individual. A rich selection of places is protected in order to preserve them and give them a future. But this selection often does not represent the values and interests of all. The terms monument and heritage relate to various aspects of our built environment, but capture unconventional places and concepts often inadequately, just as experts have only a limited insight into value creation processes and social conceptions of the relevance of places and buildings. Techno clubs and ballrooms, skateparks and parklands, virtual and real reconstructions - who determines what is relevant for whom and how it should be handled?Period | 5 Oct 2019 |
