Description

Visit to MADA, Monash University on the basis of a creative residency programme of the Department of Architecture at Monash Art Design & Architecture (MADA) in Melbourne, Australia. During his residency, 'Place Names: Queer ways of (not) being at home', I pursued my research on the interrelationship between queer theory, language and domestic architecture. The research project took as its starting-point the largely unknown work of the Dutch architect Dick van Woerkom, whose archive is held by Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam.
