N2 - In this paper, we consider the vulnerability of a network to disasters, in particular earthquakes, and we propose an efficient method to compute the distribution of a network performance measure, based on a finite set of disaster areas and occurrence probabilities. Our approach has been implemented as a tool to help visualize the vulnerability of a network to disasters. With that tool, we demonstrate our methods on an official set of Japanese earthquake scenarios.
